1- More than half (55%) of travelers rank lower fares as the most important aspect for their holiday travel decisions.

– And 94% of consumers consider ticket pricing to be important to critical when choosing an airline.

2- Only 25% of travelers say that free Wi-Fi, snacks and beverages are most important for improving the travel experience.

3- Free bags and extra legroom also play small roles in travel decision—just 14% ranked free bags as most important, and 6% for more legroom.

4- Friendliness and helpfulness of staff can go a long way when booking – 91% rank airline staff as important to critical.

Top Travel Nightmares

1- Nearly half of travelers (45%) say their biggest holiday travel nightmare is lost baggage.

2- In close second at 30% are flight delays.

3- Holiday travelers are expecting long lines and crowding this year, as only 10% ranked this as their top nightmare.
