Netquest Mexico celebrates 5 years

net questMexico City, 29 July 2013Netquest, the leading online panel provider for the market research industry in Latin America, celebrates the fifth anniversary of its Mexican subsidiary, the first subsidiary that the company opened in Latin America. The presentation of Netquest Mexico in AMAI’s (Mexican Association of Market Research and Public Opinion Agencies) Congress was held in September 2007 in Mexico City, event where Netquest received a warm reception by the professionals of the industry. Barely a year later, in June 2008, the company established its office in the country under the name of Netquest Mexicana, confirming the long-term commitment of Netquest group with this country.

During- these 5 years of existence, the strong growth undergone by Netquest Mexico is a demonstration of the investment that the Group is doing in order to develop the Latin American online research from the region itself. Netquest panel has more than 53,000 Mexican active panelists and, thanks to the continuous job done by the local operations team of already 16 professionals, in 2012 there were 42,000 online questionnaires completed for the local market. But, in addition, during the first half of 2013, more than 112,000 online surveys have been done, which means a 167% more than the entire previous year.

Nowadays, the Mexican subsidiary represents the 22% of overall company business, which also has offices in Barcelona, Madrid, São Paulo, Santiago de Chile and Bogotá. Managed by Luis Octavio Noriega, Netquest Mexico faces his sixth year with good prospects because “the studies in the region are increasingly migrating from offline to online, and so the high potential that Internet can offer to the Mexican researcher is becoming apparent”, according to Noriega’s words.
